RIO PROJEKT IN RIO DE JANEIRO

Rio Projekt’s Passistas (Brazilian dancers) travel to Brazil annually to perform professionally in Rio Carnaval. They spend extensive periods of time performing and training as elite Samba dancers in Rio and immersing themselves in the communities.

Our Brazilian dancers parade in carnaval and perform with some of the top Samba schools in Rio including Paraiso do Tuiuti, Academos do Salguerio, Imperio Serrano, Sao Clemente, Unidos de Bangu, Alegria Zona Sul, Viradouro and Porta da Pedra.

Rio Projekt’s Brazilian drummers are all professional musicians who hail from Rio, Bahia and Sao Paulo and have performed in Carnaval and at major events each of their respective cities with a host of famous Brazilian bands and artists.
